Joplin, Missouri Presents Their 2020 Old Fashioned Spring Hayride

Enjoy a hayride around McClelland Park and then a cup of hot cocoa while making s'mores!

Join Joplin, Missouri Parks & Recreation on Friday, April 24th at 7pm for their annual Old Fashioned Spring Hayride! This FREE event will be held at McClelland Park, located at 44th and McClelland Boulevard.
Over 1,000 hot dogs and s'mores will be handed out, so bring your roasting sticks and have a weenie roast around one of the bonfires located in the park! The hot dogs and s'mores are first-come, first-serve. Feel free to bypass the lines and bring your own picnic (a lot of families do!).
Enjoy a hayride around McClelland Park and then finish the evening by enjoying a cup of hot cocoa while making s'mores!
A family-friendly movie will be shown during the event on the Department's giant inflatable movie screen. Watch the Joplin Parks & Recreation Facebook page leading up to the event and vote for which movie you want to see! Many thanks to Fletcher Toyota for sponsoring the movie!
